Study Details Resurrection Sunday 2010 Luke 24:1-49 Resurrection Sunday
Sunday, April 4, 2010
Many of us today, even Christians, seek to find spiritual life but are looking among the dead! Are we still seeking the living Lord among those who are dead? Through Jesus Christ we can have a living hope!
Study Details The Scene in Heaven part 2 Revelation 5:1-14 Heaven
Wednesday, March 31, 2010
Oftentimes, Christians wonder what it will be like when we pass away out of this world, and into heaven. Revelation chapters 4 and 5 provide a beautiful picture of what things look like when the bride of Christ is off the earth and in heaven! (Part 2 of 2)
Study Details Palm Sunday 2010 Matthew 21:1-16 Palm Sunday
Sunday, March 28, 2010
What is Palm Sunday about? Did God really prophesy about one special day on His prophetic calendar, when the Messiah would be publicly announced to all in Jerusalem? Is this the special day the Lord had made, that we should rejoice in?
Study Details The Scene in Heaven part 1 Revelation 4:1-11 Heaven
Sunday, March 21, 2010
Oftentimes, Christians wonder what it will be like when we pass away out of this world, and into heaven. Revelation chapters 4 and 5 provide a beautiful picture of what things look like when the bride of Christ is off the earth and in heaven! (Part 1 of 2)
Study Details Laodicea Revelation 3:14-22 Hearing From God
Sunday, March 14, 2010
The church in Laodicea can be seen as another great reminder to focus foremost on a life of fellowship and intimacy with the Lord Jesus Christ. As Christians, we must nurture our relationship with the Lord, that we might hear His still, small voice, as we stay on guard against all distractions.
Study Details Sardis Revelation 3:1-6 Holy Spirit
Sunday, March 7, 2010
The church in Sardis is an excellent warning for Christians to not leave a life that's completely and utterly dependent upon the Holy Spirit, nor to leave the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Sadly, many have done this, and thus their lives and ministries dry up and can only be replaced with things like legalism, pride and a dead, cold religiosity. Everything on the outside can look good, as well as alive. Yet, upon closer examination of one who no longer depends upon the Holy Spirit, the examiner will notice a dead dryness instead of spiritual empowerment. The clarion call of Jesus still rings true, as He said, 'God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.'
Study Details Pergamos Revelation 2:12-17 Purity
Sunday, February 28, 2010
The church in Pergamos reminds Christians to steer clear of idolatry and sexual immorality. Instead, Christians are warned to not compromise, by living a life of purity and integrity!
Study Details Ephesus Revelation 2:1-1:7 Intimacy With God
Sunday, February 21, 2010
The church of Ephesus is a great reminder to stick close to an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, our first love! If Christians focus first on Jesus Christ, they will stay on fire for Him, and never burn out! If we don't focus first on Christ, we can become the best students and scholars, the biggest ministers and missionaries and yet find ourselves working against God!
