Calvary Chapel At The Cross' Bible Workshops are a way for Christians to get further discipled above and beyond our Sunday & Wednesday Services. Our Workshops place a heavy emphasis upon the solid teaching of the word of God.
Some of the past Bible Workshops we have held are:
- DOCTRINE & DISCIPLESHIP - a workshop to learn about foundational Christian doctrines, as well as to learn about discipleship.
- FOUNDATIONS OF YOUR FAITH - learn about your Christian faith; uses the booklet entitled A New Creation
- SIMPLE WAYS TO SHARE YOUR FAITH - learn easy ways to articulate & share your Christian faith. Covers Evangelism from a purely Biblical standpoint, 4 easy steps for Evangelism and impromptu role-playing (all attendees do not have to participate; most can simply observe if they choose).
- UNDERSTANDING STATEMENTS OF YOUR FAITH - learn in-depth about your Christian faith & where to find these things in the Bible. Learn how to understand a ministry's Statement of Faith.
- READING & ENJOYING YOUR BIBLE: - learn some simple and easy ways to enjoy daily Bible reading.
- THE BIBLE: BASICS 1 - learn some basics about your Bible, to help you in your reading, studying and enjoyment of your Bible.
- IN-DEPTH DAILY DEVOTIONAL - learn ways to help your Bible reading & comprehension, prayer & worship. Covers various facets of your devotional life in-depth, such as prayer, Bible reading and worship. Places the utmost emphasis upon hearing from God.
- THE PERSON GOD USES - common traits that God looks for in His servants
- HOW TO STUDY THE BIBLE - covers the basics of Bible study, using the Inductive Bible Study method. In some instances, we may take it further by helping you to dig deeper in depth on being a student of the Scriptures by using concordances, Bible Dictionaries, cultural background tools, computer software and other helpful resources.
- HOW TO TEACH THE BIBLE - using Inductive Bible Study as the base, we cover various principles on teaching plus allow students the opportunity to practice with the class.
- BIBLICAL THEOLOGY 1 - a foundational study covering these topics and more: The Holy Trinity, the Omniscience of God, the Omnipresence of God and the Omnipotence of God.
- BIBLE STUDY TOOLS - a workshop to equip students with practical tools, to help them to know the Bible as best as they possibly can. Simple tools are learned, to help the student to better know & understand God’s word for their life.
- PROPHECY: END TIMES - current events & Eschatology (the study of Biblical End Time Events). Learn what the Bible teaches about current & future events. Covers these topics and more: The Rapture of The Church, Daniel's (70) "sevens," The 3rd Temple, The Great Tribulation, The Second Coming of Jesus Christ, and The Millennial Reign.
